Reliance Jio New All-in-One Prepaid Plans The first thing to note here is that Reliance Jio has announced that it would introduce totally new All-in-One plans or AIO plans which would come with a 40% tariff hike. To recall, the all-in-one plans by Reliance Jio are the latest offerings in its roster which bundle everything from data, SMS, unlimited calling to Reliance Jio network and even some IUC minutes which the subscribers can use to make calls to other networks priced at 6 paise per minute. However, this new announcement means that the prices of these AIO plans by Reliance Jio will take a jump by 40% and hence, the subscribers will have to pay more for them in the coming days. Reliance Jio Tariff Hike Date and Price Increase Another thing to note about Reliance Jio’s tariff hike on the prepaid plans is that the telecom operator would hike the prices starting December 6. It is worth noting that the incumbents have already hiked their prices and they would start retailing the new plans with hiked prices earlier than Reliance Jio on December 3. On the other hand, the Mukesh Ambani led telecom operator, Reliance Jio, has remarked that it would start offering these new tariffs from December 6. Coming to the benefits of these new all-in-one plans by Reliance Jio, the telecom operator has noted that it would be shipping benefits which would be 300% more along with the price increase. So, the subscribers can imagine that although Reliance Jio would hike the price, it would also increase some of the benefits of these all-in-one plans as well. With this, Reliance Jio has also noted in its release that the all-in-one prepaid plans would still come with a cap on outgoing calls to other telecom operators. Vodafone Idea Also Increases Tariff By 40% If we are to compare the incumbents, we would see that Vodafone Idea has hiked the tariffs by as much as 40% on some of its prepaid plans. The plans in the lower rungs, especially the ones which come with 28 days validity have received around 25% price hike. Whereas, the plans with 84 days validity and yearlong validity have received around 30% and 40% price hike respectively in addition to the introduction of a cap on outgoing calls to other networks. Bharti Airtel, on the other hand, has stuck to the unlimited calling benefit while raising the tariffs for the subscribers.
